COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Please take the time to thoroughly read and understand all of the below protocols that have been put in place at Kelowna Springs to help ensure the health and safety of all golfers and staff.

TEE TIMES

  • Golfers must have a pre-booked tee time to enter the golf course property. Walk ups are not permitted.
  • If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, or have travelled out of country in the last 14 days, we ask that you DO NOT COME to the golf course.

CURRENT TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS IN BC

BEFORE GOLF ON DAY OF PLAY

  • Be vigilant in practicing 6 foot (or more) of physical distancing, unless you are playing with people inside your social bubble.
  • Please arrive at the golf course no earlier than 20-minutes prior to your tee time. This will allow enough time to complete your check in transaction and get to the first tee.
  • If there is a frost delay, we will be locking the gate until 20 minutes before we are ready to go (please stay inside your car outside the gate until it is opened).
  • Only three golfers are permitted in the golf shop at one time - the ONLY entrance to the Golf Shop is from the concession patio behind the 18th green (floor markers will outline where line is to form).
  • Arrive prepared - we encourage you to be proactive and responsible in bringing your own face masks & hand sanitizer for use while golfing (we will have dispensers in the Golf Shop, the Clubhouse washrooms and by the Concession). Also consider bringing your own water, and a damp towel to clean your golf ball as needed.

WHILE GOLFING

  • Be vigilant in practicing 6 foot (or more) of physical distancing, unless you are playing with people inside your social bubble.
  • Flag sticks are not to be touched at any time. Cup fillers will keep the ball from going to the bottom of the hole. We encourage continuous putting and 2 foot gimmies.
  • Ball washers have been removed (please bring your own damp towel).
  • Rakes have been removed - Covid-19 local rule is in place to allow you to 'foot rake and place' your ball as needed. Please also do your best to 'foot rake' your steps as you exit bunkers.
  • Sand and seed bottles have been removed.
  • Washroom facilities in the Clubhouse are open, and primary touch points will be sanitized on a regular basis.

AFTER GOLFING

  • Be vigilant in practicing 6 foot (or more) of physical distancing, unless you are playing with people inside your social bubble.
  • Shoe blower has been removed.
